Yea I saw that, incredible cast at 250 yards with with the hook bait 180 yards behind it, what did it weigh.

I've flown over it so many times mainly on winter. It's immense.... what's the depths go to?

Hi Glen

I had my 2 blanks in '87 and my 28lb in '88. I've mainly fished large waters ever since.
I have no right to tell anyone how to enjoy their carping, but wraps, named fish, pegs or swims on fashionable venues has never floated my boat.
A double figure fish from somewhere like Geneva, lipno or Ballaton puts a smile on my face, and that's what it's about for me

More should give it a go rather than following the crowd

Best

Jon

Could always buy one of the stunning bank side properties if you have a few million plus to spare.

Not to mention some of the depths it drops down to. Beautiful place but definitely not for the faint of heart fishing wise

I've ridden past it a few time on tour, often wondered what's in it but at 5400 acres think you would need a boat and a lot of time to explore it.

Hi Christopher

Do it if you can

It's an epic and overlooked venue imo.
I was lucky to do 3 sessions on there, 2 blanks and a 13 and a 28 on the last one.

Well worth the effort

Best

I've always fancied a craic at the lake. Flown and drove past it many times.

Certainly not for the faint hearted

Hi All

Got a text from an old friend today, he's been fishing lake Geneva (north end) every year for the last 18 years from his in laws garden every October.
He's been shovelling a 36lb common down my throat for about 5 years now, but this morning he went for a poo and a shower and when he came back his Mrs had a 42lb common on the bank

I just love the irony of our sport
