From memory around six or seven years ago there was a lot of interest in active CSL on online forums, and the eagle eyed bait barons jumped on it lol. Just so happened a CSL sourced from Tate n Lyle via a 3rd party became available around this time.
Which having seen the raw untampered with product in the flesh, before the bait industry started re bottling and selling, was a very thick darkish tan colour. Dynamite baits CSL launched around this time, and was strikingly similar and I believe PA stabilised.
I suspect this is the Tate n Lyle CSL, which DNA/BAF are selling on to the public. Roquette was another source for CSL, used in the bait industry. Could be mistaken with all this though.

In reply to Post #10 The original old school stuff was made in Manchester at what is now a Cargill factory in Trafford park.
It was a bye product from one of their processes and is no longer produced.
The BAF/DNA one is not the same as that - but I use it and it is a very good CSL

In reply to Post #9 Point taken, my apologies.
I was under the impression that proper cls was unattainable so I was rather skeptical as this being the real thing.
Thanks for your input guys I’ll give them a go

Hi all, any feed back on this company and specifically their active corn steep liquor. I’ve never used CSL but from what I’ve heard the real stuff is hard to come by.
Any input most welcome.
