carp pox or carp measles, both relatively harmless just look unsightly.

It's 100% not leeches....

Friend of mine has seen similar on fish in his pond in the past, he reckons it is bacterial or possibly parasites...

I fished there a couple of times on socials with mates , very freindly set up , nice people , fish are not UK , well not all of them though quite a few are .
It is fine for a couple of nights to chill out and catch a few fish . Sand Lake and Lapwing being the carpy lakes , bigger fish in Lapwing.

I've fished it once. It's good fishing but not classic looking carp that your after. If you want that then go elsewhere.
