In reply to Post #1 Hello Richard,
I fished it for two winters after the big ghostie, sits around 32/31lb,
Fish tight on the island with particles or chopped boilie, don't be afraid to move!
The stock is mainly 15lb commons with a few mirrors.
Its quite weedy as well but they love bread and mixers.

In reply to Post #3 That's useful, thanks. What lake are you on - Match / Copse?

In reply to Post #2 I just can't bring myself to go to Gold Valley though and given my friend is an ex sponsored match angler, he would probably catch more than me!

In reply to Post #1 I fish the lake next door to Tri Lakes and can confirm that they seem to get plenty of runs during the day. I think you would consider it a runs water.
one bank on our lake is just the other side of a fence and you can see and hear what's going on.
not sure if they have night fishing .... not on the bank closest to us as they let out the animals from the petting zoo to graze at night.

In reply to Post #1 The first place I ever caught a carp from, just lived literally up the road from there back then, many moons ago now though.
Haven't a clue about the place now.
If you want to almost guarantee catching head over to gold valley, plenty in there these days I hear and a bit of a runs water.

Has anybody fished Tri Lakes in Yateley recently as I have a friend new to carp fishing and always remembered it as being a good place for a bite during the day.? However, I have heard that it has changed quite significantly since the last time I was there (over five years ago) and wondered if you guys knew anything more about it now?
Failing that any tips on other day tickets lakes that we could fish would be most welcome.
Any help, much appreciated.
Richard
