I use 15 year old Tournament 5000T reels and had to buy a new handle last year from Daiwa, cost me nearly £70 quid with shipping for a plastic moulded one.

If WD had done a blue(ish) one I'd have gone there as they are aluminium.

It's pretty much the price daiwa charge for a tournament 5000t handle (gunmetal variety) . Although there are a few places online with the standard infinity and black tournament handles cheap at £40 approximately if you buy from the spares department they're still going to cost you approximately £65 and that version has no bearings in the handle shaft.

Way better than a daiwa Far East handle with nasty plastic bushes in the handle that they charge £35 for.

Shimano use plastic bushes in their handles as well yet only £9 for 3 sets of bearings to replace in all 3 reels... Should be able to get bearings for the Daiwa handles as well for similar price.

Also the bearings Weston use come from Japan which is about as Far East as you can go

FFS £75 each. I would have bought some if they were priced sensibly. That is taking the pi$$.

£100 for 3 sounds about right. to me. They'd sell loads at that price.
