Funny how the most expensive book out of them all is "Fishing for Dummies".... made me chuckle....

HI all

Just got myself a new kindle for upcoming holiday on the beach...

Just wondered what carp related books I can get on Kindle....

I have found a lot of the "Big Carp Legend" books as well as one last cast, just for the record, an obsession with carp, carp tales, from the bivvy, the myth and the syndicate series.

Just wondered if there were any other I was missing... I have 2 weeks on my hands with the misses so need some good reading

Also by Keith Jenkins is The Keeper
Fool and his Eel by Mark Walshingham well worth buying

I've read the myth and the keeper both excellent
Also had just for the record lee Jackson and a couple of others on kindle,looking forward to seeing a bigger range available on there

I recommened The Lost Diary and How to Fish (both by Chris Yates). The Complete Bad Angler had me in stitches as well (It's a collection of the Angling Times column). Im currently reading and enjoying A Fool And His Eel.

i bought Dave Lanes first book to save me thumbing the proper copy
lee jacksons was ok for the price but you have read that one
got illusions of maya for the next read

Hi guys please excuse my IT ignorance can any of the books be downloaded onto a Samsung tab
I too have a fornight without the rods whilst on holiday , will need a fix to get through it

Does it have a Kindle app that you can download? If so shouldnt be a problem. Failing that maybe you could buy direct from the Amazon website?

Nice one Tom, I know it's a bit saucy, but I reckon it would be super great if, as others add to the list, you update your list.

Then a really super duper great idea, if a mod makes your post 1000 which keeps it at the top.

Only recently got into the Kindle books, great aren't they, and senibly priced. I love carp books and have a big collection but, they take up so much bloody room.

I think i'll do what i did with my vast record collection, and replace them all digitally

gents - does anyone know from their reading which books contain chapters on fishing horton/wraysbury and the mere? I know Dave Lane has covered those waters in his books, as has Nick Helleur, Briggs and Pete Springate... looking for more reading material on above lakes.
