In reply to Post #15 Fine, and fair enough.
We'll agree to disagree on motives behind the website etc , but honestly, you're wrong 😂
In regards to the purchase side of it, you're purchase would be with Temu, not him.
Pay with a credit card and I'd imagine you'd have some protection.
From the commission side of it, Temu would just give him a tiny percentage of sales.
Look at it from a different angle though. I'd rather save 80% of my own money and him get a small bit of commission, than pay full price for the same tackle and line the pockets of the owners of the big tackle brands.

In reply to Post #14 I don’t have a clue who he is, certainly no hate 😂
I can just see through it, another social media carp ‘influencer’ with a new angle.
What happens it you buy something from one of his links and it doesn’t turn up? Or a package of tea towels turns up instead of a reel you spent £50 on direct from China? Does he give you a refund? He’s already made his money through the affiliate link commission, where does that leave you?

In reply to Post #13 I didn't say he didn't get anything from it.
I'm fully aware how it works.
What i said was, hes not bothered about making money from it, its fully about helping the everyday carp anglers not spending ridiculous amounts of money on the same items repackaged and sold for 4 times the price.
You obviously dont like the guy, thats up to you, but if you can see through the hatred enough to either look on the website, or on temu, you'll see the same tackle items.
Christ some stuff on temu even has korda packaging in the product photos.
Eat that up 👍

In reply to Post #7 The small print on the website even states that they are affiliate links. Seems to me like another carp grifter, just using a different angle. You can eat it up if you want though..

In reply to Post #11 Reps from companies just ordering bulk from china, their brand on packets, selling as their own crap.
Profits keeping all their mates in free crap, free tickets so they catch mug simmos for the gram. Keeps the wheels turning.
Was just the same in the mags, carpworld doing articles for the advertisers, a money-go -round for all the boys.
When Ali and the others were talking about getting the youth into fishing, thats just to sustain a sellers market, like peddling drugs, get the kids hooked early...

In reply to Post #9 100%... once you see the reasoning behind it, its hard not to disagree with him.
Whatever someone my think of him, if you take the idea, video and content for what it is, I'd say its hard not to have some respect for it.

In reply to Post #8 Thats unfortunate, and it happens. I get it though, once it happens, you say to yourself never again.
I've been there too, but with big brand stuff. Korda hook snapped, only once, but once is enough. Also an OMC hook barb break-off which was odd.
I actually use some bank table bits and pieces and have never had a problem.

In reply to Post #6 I’ve had 2 bank tackle spinner swivels open and bend on me never again doing cheap end tackle
Binned all my spinner swivels because I mixed bank with Korda and had to replace the lot an expensive mistake to save a pound 🫣

In reply to Post #4 Ive been following this alot and hes not interested in making a few pence. If he does through the links, so be it, but its more about helping people not pay a fortune for the same items you can get from Temu for a quarter of the price.
Fox pva loaders, korda tackle, nash bits they're all on there, with the same packaging too.
Hes also done a YouTube video explaining why hes doing what he is. (Link below).

In reply to Post #1 Search c4rpycraig on Instagram. Look at his previous stories/highlights. It'll explain everything about the site and why.
More or less, he's on a mission to find the exact products that the big tackle brands are offering, but without the carp tax, and fair play too. Hence nocarptax.com
Loads of the items sold via temu even have the same packaging as the big brands too!

It just looks like a directory of affiliate sales links to Temu sellers? ‘Carpy Chris’ has put his face to it in the hope of scalping a few pence on any sales that go through, but you are buying from Temu.
Risky business to put a personal reputation on the line with zero control over what the Temu store actually ships.

In reply to Post #2 Half the product photos have been lifted from Temu... so not sure why you would bother using this site instead of Temu itself?

No but it just looks like temu tackle
