In reply to Post #12 I find it takes less than 5 minutes to set up. Best thing is that the inside of the bivvy stays dry, so can be packed away till the next session, and the tarp, which is wet with condensation, is much easier to dry out at home, it being one big flat piece of material. Worth considering.

In reply to Post #11 I watched a reel on Facebook with someone putting on a Nash tarp, it looked like a bit of a faff to be honest, I usually only do a quick over nighter and the less setting up means more fishing and less packing away!
Think if I was doing like two or three nights it’d be handy tho

Consider getting either the Fox or Nash tarp. I use the Fox version with the Frontier X, and it acts as a second skin as far as condensation is concerned, and offers a load more coverage at the front. Best thing I've bought in the last few years.

In reply to Post #6 Tempest has it the right way around
No doubting that, a shame it took the companies so long to bring out a flat back.
The only problem with the Tempest is the price, for me anyway, it's not that I couldn't afford it more I don't want to
I saw a vid of the Wychwood Epic last night, vapour peak and groundsheet included, very similar in design to the Frontier and Tempest and I have to say after using Fox and Trakker for 35 years my head was turned slightly...hmm

In reply to Post #4 Mate has a frontier, it looks OK but it's a bit of a faff that the vapour peak has to be removed when packing away as it fits onto the bottom poles.
Tempest has it the right way around

No more negatives than any normally get, but seen a lot more positives. I am pretty impressed with it myself, but couldn't afford the bivvy and vapour peak at the time. Now I have the cash for it I can't get one. Darn it!

In reply to Post #3 Me too, thought they had another winner on their hands there. Has it had a lot of negatives mentioned about it, I've seen a few but not that many, but I don't do much social media.
Price had lead me in favour of Fox over Trakker, having said that I have noticed Frontiers on offer as of late, maybe a good thing for a better price....hmm

Hi, now that it seems that Fox have discontinued the Vapour Peak on the Frontier X (which is disappointing as I have only just got mine) does anyone know if the XD vapour peak will fit the X? Thanks.
