He was a joke before the Tragic-Twig. Since then, it's not even printable what he is, not without causing others great offence. Any respect he might have got for wising up about that utter crap he sells, went out the window long ago.

I can count on one hand the amount of them I take seriously.
There's certainly a distinct divide between the kiddies, those with the attention span of kiddies who need new shiny things, and those who like what they like and aren't in the tackle shop every week trying the new in thing.
I can honestly say i've not walked into a tackle shop in about a year. I bought a ****load of hooks ages ago, and only just ran out of Tungsten Loaded, which i've used since the day dot. I am not Ali's target market and never will be. I'd like to think most people see through it.
I guess I better take a trip to TB for my usual 2 minute in and out (which is how she feels funny enough)

His target audience is people who don't know any better, the bloke is an absolute tool. He has zero respect among any real carp anglers of any ages. Only poor saps who lap up the media & his media cronies who get paid.
Go around any sensible carp pit in the land and ask for opinions on the bloke. It will be the same as what gets said here, and FAR worse. Everyone knows he's an absolute helmet, except the poor misguided ones who think that he is some great carp angler.
He used to just be annoying & could be ignored. Now he is dam right offensive to so many. The Twig proves how little he knows or even cares about carp fishing really. Anyone who 'cared' would not do what this bloke does. He's just a salesman, end of. Selling himself & fk carp fishing & everyone else.
If I ever get to meet him, I'll tell him right to his muggy face as well. Korda have so much to be thanked for in carp fishing. Not in unleashing this div though.

A club sent a msg out to me yesterday, would people please stop ordering takeaways in the early hours to be delivered to the gatehouse of the estate as its causing a nuisance to the people living there....and I just thought....really....surely common sense....you know.
Then again I'm sure like Alis on screen persona, they don't represent the masses now...do they....I hope they don't !

Everything about this soppy mug absolutely reeks these days. He's about all that is wrong with carp fishing rolled up into one. The list is just never ending.
How the most tranquil of past times, could end up as him as the public face is beyond me... Jumpy, shouty, "look at me"... With zero morals whatsoever to the industry around him.
Just the complete opposite to what carp fishing is really about.

It is really bad. And that is nothing to do with it being false representation of fishing, we know that, it's a tv programme at end of day. It just everything else. Horrific.
