I'm out later on first time since my mom passed away late last year,I need to get out the house rather than either sit at home or work be nice to just get on the bank,it's what my mom would have wanted, for us to carry as as normal as possible and she knew we loved our fishing (me & my brothers)

I've been working down the Pool all week and the lovely sunny days have definitely gotten the carp more active. I've seen several sat around the margins in 2ft of water sunning themselves and cleaning themselves off in the sandy and clay areas.
Fingers crossed for the weekend.

"Fools Spring" as the gardeners call it. March or April usually come along with something to spoil the vibe.

Will take it while it lasts though, makes being outside so much more enjoyable. Have loads of my early season garden jobs done already.

Out to wet a line definitely tomorrow, maybe even tonight too.

Nice one 👍

Edit, next 4/5 days averaging 15 deg, apparently 17 here on Thursday...was snowing this time last year. Even if there's a 'sting in the tail' it's not too shabby at all

my old bones don't like the cold. Spent a few hours sorting the garden and planted 15 chilli plants in the lovely sunny weather.

Nothing left to do next Saturday now so definitely going fishing!
