In reply to Post #1 Ladywood? Over 70 different 30’s, bait boats allowed and some banging takeaways deliver to the lake. Bookable double pegs as well.

^ This was one of the threads I had read.
My mates convinced of Norton Disney now I think, again not sure what to expect as read various threads on here.

In reply to Post #4 Or the fact your all piled on top of each other on some areas of the lake.
Was there a couple years ago just catching up with a couple of mates. A fish showed in the empty swim between my mate and another angler. When lined up it was fishable from all 3 swims and you’d not have been casting too far over from anywhere. If it’s busy you get hemmed in

In reply to Post #1 Why Does BlueBell get mixed reviews ?
It's Excellent apart from when Linear closes some of their lakes, people travel up to Bluebell and it gets busy ! Still find swims and Trev the Bailiff is a complete Legend !!!

Looking for a venue for me and a friend to spend 3 nights mid October. Normally head to linear but B1/B2 look like there closed for bookings. Thought Bluebell but gets mixed reviews?
Does anywhere exist 2 hours from Manchester, preferably allows bait boats with the chance of a 30 and won’t be rammed?
Thanks
