Carptechnics will also be fitting it to the SB3 . . .prefer the practicality / functionality of the XR310 plus Raymarine!

Looks like the Toslon XR500 is a competitor to the Carplounge range.

Looks briiliant for £375 the vulcan. Love the single handed controllers, so much easier than the two handed ones.

I'd agree with the ND2 - great for the price and they are still working on the app side of it to improve it.

With a deeper you can now map swims out with the boat on the app.

And i believe the new version of the app, that is in a beta testing stage, has some really good new features in it.

Just tell us iwhat features you want and your budget, people spend a few hundred to a few thousand everyone has a different perception on what they class as mid range.

Actor really are brilliant for the money. Had a mk4 for years and now using a plus.
More lower end then mid range maybe but I would suggest having a look at them.

I would say the ND2, comes with GPS built in and you can upgrade to autopilot and add a deeper sonar if you want.

Mid range - Actor

So cheap that if it sinks when you go longer range simply buy another!

OR do you mean distance and effective connection over mid distance?

In that case don't scrimp; poor connectivity at short range can still occur irrespective of boat cost - If your using a boat regularly at any range you want one that's reliable!

OR do you mean mid 'price' . . . ?

If an RT4 is top of the price range, an Actor is near the bottom - there are a plethora in the middle - probably ND2 is the one your after

Hi guys. There are lots of views on the lower end bait boats, but what is out there in the mid range? What’s good, what’s bad?
