In reply to Post #40 Evening lads, been busy moving from the old unit to the new one today (yes on a bank holiday 😂 .
Colours, well I will do my best to explain. Sting in yellow is made from a very soluble dye. It’s that perfect sweet corn yellow when you get them and launch them in but they will certainly wash out within hours to a nice pale yellow. It is one of the things I love about that specific pop up. The mix is designed to let flavour out or in if you choose to spray soak or coat in anything, but without losing buoyancy.
Eton mess pink........that is made from a fluro pink dye and will not wash out to the same extent. They area a nice pink and everyone seems to love that colour for some reason. The almond is bright pink! The new squid is the one that makes my phone bleep constantly at the moment and I dropped one into 18 foot of water for 18 hours and it came back looking almost the same as it went in. Not all dyes react the same. The yellow is the most soluble by far and if you test them in a tank you will see this clearly. The new coconut is a grey colour and that doesn’t seem to change much in water. Thanks for the nice words from everyone below it keeps us going when we are drowning in muck and squid flavour 😉

In reply to Post #38 Thanks for the very kind offer mate, I'm going to order some anyway, there's a few other bits I fancy now off the back of this thread.

In reply to Post #21 The squids are awesome and will be getting tested next weekend. I love the way that the Stings wash out on the outside but remain exactly the same inside

In reply to Post #36 If the pink is anything like the sting yellow they wash out lovely to a very pale yellow almost white

In reply to Post #27 I liked the look of those but still looked a bit bright, difficult to tell off a web page.
A couple of years back I bought some washed out Pink pop ups, for the life of me I can't remember who's, possibly Nash. Out of the pot lovely, but when reeled in a few hour's later they had changed colour to a super bright Pink, they went in the bin.

In reply to Post #32 Thanks for getting back to me mate.
Hopefully you get a few requests for the 12mm wafters lol if not you will have to let me know when the little dumbell wafters are ready and I will trim them down to size

In reply to Post #31 Yes we can as we ran 12mm peanut trials and they worked well. It’s the little barrel dumbells most lads want so we are working on them! Our problem is that many people want odd shapes or sizes so we need to keep the range in some sort of order. We already have lots of things on the drawing board 😉. But if enough people ask for the little 12mm Wafters then we can knock up a batch. Only a few have asked for the 20mms but I know that will rise in the summer

Alright gav I ordered some krill and calanus pop ups and wafters a few weeks back and they look and smell the nuts and hopefully I should be giving them a go next week. Out of curiosity can you do the krill and calanus in a 12mm wafter cos one of the waters I fish definitely respond more to a smaller bait. If you can I will defo put in an order for a few pots

In reply to Post #27 Chris, glad you are doing well on them. That specific one is the most subtle out of them all but it’s an age old classic and very acidic. Tastes lovely with some nice fruity powders in the base. A pop up doesn’t need to blow your head off as we know they can find them no trouble at all but the most popular baits in the range are the ones which are potent and strong.
Eton mess with the bergamot is a favourite of many customers.
