They are not on the website Chewbakka. Special orders only.

Message our work mobile my friend, we always hold a few tubs back for emergency or to replace if Royal Mail lose. Not certain of exact numbers but we have a little 16mm & 13mm balanced Bug left.

Message the work mobile on WhatsApp (I’m in a hospital bed abroad). WhatsApp is free. Make it clear that you are Chewbakka from forum at start of message please if you do.

They are special order the bug,it says in the specialized thread below that he is sold out at the moment.😔 I got my last 3 pots from the tackle box,but they are sold out at the moment. It would be worth using the specialized mobile number on their site to WhatsApp them and ask when they will be in stock.

Just put an order in for some bug can't wait to try it out, luckily for me the syndicate I'm on can get a decent discount. Oh and obviously use some of TCarpers bug hookbaits over it too.

Without question one of, if not the most highly rated freezer bait on the market currently. I hear it from 100's of our customers using the Bug who pay full price for it. I don't hear the same thing in anywhere near the same numbers about any other freezer bait.

Not from promo team members, from genuine happy customers.

The Bug hook baits we made for the TackleBox sold out in a single day. To anglers in the main already using the Bug freezer baits in Kent. The shop have been begging for more ever since. We have 10kg of the base mix and separated liquids, ready to make a load more.

Buy with complete confidence.

Use with confidence. I was not sure as I wanted to go down the fishmeal route and i thought it was an odd combo (as are some of the other baits in the DNA range) but could not ignore the results.
There are loads of options on sizes, hookbaits, great comms ,delivery and offers. Such a well run company.

I don't use Bug myself but I have been using S7 since launch. I'd use any of DNAs baits with full confidence, quality at a great price

It’s a very good bait so is the insect meal powder to I used it last year on the public lake and baited with bug (this was may time)and made up balls of ground bait with insect meal(which is black soldier fly) also got a 5k bag of soldier fly,one that people buy to feed the wild birds,it helps baulk out the insect meal as it’s pricey per kilo)and blended that up so there’s all the shell etc in it mixed with liquid bug,and fished over it,had a few with this method, the way I see it it’s a dark bait and it’s good for shallow water, doesn’t really draw attention to the swans when they come back down from the top end of the lake drifting around looking for food.

Thanks for the confidence boost. Certainly seemed to be good money for what you got, just wasn't sure if it was sawdust, egg and a dodgy flavour

Use with confidence. Prefer the SLK and S7 mixed myself but used the bug exclusively on a hard water and did really well, just prefer a fishmeal myself

I dont really use shelf life myself bar the odd 5kg like yourself for reserves. Their shelf life is extremely soft. Easy to crumb into a mix. Had a 36.10lbs last week of shelf life Bug crumb and corn/hemp mix

Was thinking of getting 5Kg of shelfies of The Bug to stick in the boot of the car. Just in case I miraculously manage to catch a few and run out of fresh boilies on a session.

How firm are the shelfies for throwing out in a stick?

Use with confidence pal. I switched from Mainline to DNA a few years back after a dry spell and never looked back. Good quality bait at reasonable prices.

The bug is my go to boillie. The AMMO Smoke in a solid bag has also given me excellent results since start using it

Bumping this, any long term reviews?

I used to use an insect meal bait a long time and it always performed well (from memory).

I'm looking for something decent that will not cost me a fortune and DNA's bundles keep appearing on my feed and work out 20 to 30 quid cheaper for similar from other bait companies

So...... anyone using this? Any views on it in terms of effectiveness, how hard or soft it is, does it soften up a little or a lot?

It’s still in its final stages as far as I know and not sure a final finish has been reached yet. That said it should be out in the spring which would suggest the next couple of months should see it available

The new batches are darker than the test batches from 6/7 months ago

I’m going to use a mixture of S7 and bug this season, as S7 did me well last year

I'd like to give it a go when released (just don't ask when it's being released ! lol) but due to it's colour I'm worried that the swans on my lake will be all over it in seconds.
I can't put the amount of boilie I would like in my lake as I would be feeding the f&ck*rs (shallow, weedy and crystal clear). Currently using a mix of S7 and SLK and I have to be careful where I put it.

Maple is my guess also. Saw it a couple of years ago and straight away said it would be probably be my bait of choice when it’s released

Managed to get hold of 5kg and a bottle of spod syrup a couple months ago but not had chance to use it yet

Hmmmmm..... I remember getting some bait from a guy called Danny Nalton at the start of the millenium. Had a company called natural Natural Extracts and one of his baits was based on insect and insect/meal.

Will locate the podcast and have a listen

Recently became aware of this bait which is in development. Can't seem to find a great deal of info on it. I take it the bug reference is something to do with the make up of the bait?

Anyone got any idea? Just curious as I'm a long term DNA user.
