In reply to Post #381 Don’t dispute that. The straight line speed is ridiculous compared to others, bit on an unfair advantage for me, saying that they lack in corners due to the geometry but like you say, they are approved. WSB and Batista he was making up to 12 bike lengths on the straights a couple of years ago, times that by 25 laps
Wins down to riders skills?
That’s why I was never a big Fogerty fan, always though he had a distinct competitive advantage. Saying that, I was at Donnington MotoGP around 92 when he had a wild card ride, and ditched it, not at the races

In reply to Post #379 Why cheating? They all have to conform to the rules. Ducati have produced some incredible bikes and still do.

In reply to Post #378 Nasty one that, good news is he walked off. Hope he has not damaged himself

In reply to Post #376 We don’t want any Ducati’s winning, like cheating
Saying that, just upgraded mine
Would love to see Yamaha and FQ win myself

In reply to Post #377 yes I have to agree, dropping burgess was a big mistake.....massive high side for mm93 in fp2...

In reply to Post #376 Burgess is the masia, biggest mistake of rossi's career parting company with him.

In reply to Post #374 Hmm not sure on the 1st one, I hope your right.
If Vr46 get Burgess and can get the Duc to turn better than the factory bikes they may do very well.
@ scozza I hope somebody ruffs the rat up

In reply to Post #373 The thought of it becomming a 1 rider championship again
Similar to me, I’m enjoying the mix up at the moment
Think his record on the track helped him there and he broke quick and lead in typical rat boy fashion. Think he has ditched it 3 times already though, that tells me he is pushing to the absolute limit. Dirty little trick on FQ at the start too, I hope somebody ruffs the rat up
Respect though, he can do amazing things on a motorcycle, great rider, and I’m sure HRC will give him a great bike. Only good news, at the moment it seems like quite a few who can win

In reply to Post #373 Can't see it becoming a one rider championship again for a very long time if at all.
See team Vr46 has signed a three year deal with ducati even with yamaha offering a special rate, all he nedds now is to make up with Burgess and get him on board.

In reply to Post #372 They commented on that wage suggestion in the post race. I'm still surprised he won that race, yes the track favoured his better shoulder but I still thought it'd take him a bit longer. The thought of it becomming a 1 rider championship again, sooner rather than later Having siad that he's thrown it down the road a few times and it wouldn't surpise me if he does it again...with consequences for his injury.

In reply to Post #371 MM has another year before he is 100% fit according to his physio, don't know if true but read he offered to give his 25m dollar salary for last year back to hrc after his crash.

In reply to Post #369 Watched the post race interview. MM, when it rained on the 4th lap I knew I would win!
And as for crap riders or riders past their best. If MV was Yamahas top man everybody would be writing the bike off, he’s gone ffs!!!
Great ride for AE and Aprillia too, nice bike that

In reply to Post #368 MM was bound to do well, one of his best tracks, expected a podium but not the win, the layout made it easier on his injury must admit I'm surprised by ktm as the road bikes perform but reliability isn't great and expected them to fall apart.
