That post in 7 years old.
It might have been lost when we had a forum crash a while ago?
Just an assumption

Well there are ones I've searched before which I know we're on here but not anymore it seems but can't remember.
All of the previous tarty tackles don't come up for me though.

Not sure what posts you are after, or threads. How old were they, PM me any details about them and I can check the server when I am home from fishing

Years ago, there was a scheduled task on the server which would archive any threads which had not been posted into for a certain number of months, but I am sure that scheduled task was disabled. I can check

IIRC it was the same thing that happened to a forum I ran, server issue, recoverable to only a certain point/year, I'll point Karl in this direction to confirm, think it's been mentioned before somewhere

Can I ask what happened to all the all old threads on the forum that can no longer see?

Will ask, cross over isn't a bad thing

I think maybe there is some cross over in the view from your swim thread.
Can that thread be a sticky, maybe next to this one, so one for tackle specific, and one for the general views

Funnily enough I was thinking the same the other day looking at this thread...I wonder...

Would there be any harm reposting, seeing as most of it will have faded in the memory of others...what's wrong with a bit of duplicated shiny (or not) between members

What’s happened to all the tarts??

This used to be a very popular thread with both deadly serious and humorous posts.

I can’t believe the current crop of anglers haven’t stopped being tarty, even the wannabe 16 year old ‘Old Skooler’ still must have a hankering for tarty retro gear, all lined up perfectly.

Then there was the ‘garden shots’, all the gear but no time to actually use it. Who was the guy who posted pictures of his setup with £20 notes as a splash mat and bottles of champagne???? That was a good laugh.

I recently went on a tackle manufacturers site where they have a support WhatsApp group and the two things I noticed was A) spelling was atrocious and B) most on there were attracted to ‘Shiny Things’

So there must be some proud tarts out there. If it’s posting pics that puts people off there’s instructions how to on here.
