In reply to Post #2726 Buatsi performance was very disappointing ok he won but looked very average
and Canelo could not put on the knockout show that was expected
John Ryder was amazing losing on points took everything Canelo had and forced him to the distance losing on points
but seemed to me Canelo had lost a lot of his head movement and on that showing I cant see him beating Bivol ?
who he called out after the fight
saying he wants the rematch with Dmitry Bivol as his next fight in September. Canelo says he wants the Bivol bout at 175 lbs under the same terms as the last time they fought in May 2022
just cant see him beating Bivol ?

What a performance form JR, went the distance with the pound for pound king, tough man

In reply to Post #2724 yes I agree it would be amazing
but this match is in front of his passionate fans to put on a show after his recent defeat
and its expected to be a a one sided fight and ESPECIALLY as its his first
fight in his home country for the first time in more than 11 years !!! Mexican pride and all that
BUT this is boxing and unlikely things can and do happen sometimes and OMG wouldnt it be great if the upset happened
Live Fight Night:Buatsi v Stepien sky sports 19.00 tonight too

In reply to Post #2723 Wouldn’t it be brilliant if Ryder went out and beat him in his own back yard though? Unlikely I know, but JR is a tough man, you never know.

In reply to Post #2722 Can’t see that been much more than a workout for Canelo myself, levels and all

Boxing tv (Dan Hewitt) is interviewing Vinny Paz at 9.30pm on YouTube. This is the guy who fought back from a broken neck to a work title and whose inspiration led to the hit movie (bleed for this).

Not sure if people like the BKNB, followed it for a while now. Brutal fight including two northern lads last night, real man’s game

In reply to Post #2717 Masterclass from Davis
You don’t run a world class counter puncher down in the second as Garcia tried to do, you will get hit and he did. Tank touched Garcia’s right all night and took the jab away, Garcia couldn’t and didn’t throw the right or he would have got countered. 6-8 rounds he said, over in 7. Superb
Agree about the rematch. The old iron Mike analogy, everybody has a game plan until you get hit in the face. That was Garcia after the second

In reply to Post #2716 Tank just too powerful for Garcia
Has soon as Tank floored Garcia in the 2nd round it was only a matter of time before Tank stopped Garcia
Definitely no need for a rematch Garcia ain't in Tanks league

Babic gets stopped, I bet many were not expecting that, rabbit in headlights springs to mind, put it on him!
Great BKNB tonight if anybody watches it, Danny Christie flops Holmes
