In reply to Post #208 Who do you think will win the Pac Man vs Broner fight that happened on Saturday night ?

Thurman vs. Lopez soon. Surely Thurman has got to get in the mix and prove himself, there are some potential brilliant fights around
I’m looking forward to Garcia vs. Spence, oh yes!!!
I’m not a Khan fan at all but if anybody can give Terrence a run for his money, it’s him for me

In reply to Post #206 Not just the elbow for blocks mate, watch how he holds people off with it close up and ruffs them up, runs it over the face, naughty but nice

In reply to Post #205 That's it, he's definitely one for the purist rather than the casual. If you want to see a tear up, don't watch ffloyd. I like the elbow guard he uses too, does it in such a way that only one half of his face is open so he can concentrate on that whilst everything else is covered. Not sure he would have been so successful if his body punch resistance wasn't so good though. Definitely tbe in my eyes, nobody else comes even nearly close to the skills he has.
Keep an eye out for a lad called devan haney, looks very promising and is part of the mayweather camp

In reply to Post #204 That’s why he’s a kickboxer and not a boxer
You fight a good boxer and you are going to get hit
Mayweather like him or loathe him is at another level completely, one of if not the greatest I have ever seen. Even love how he uses his forearm and elbow, superb
Watched a video a while ago, Ariel view, his head movement is unreal, faster than the punch, I can see why people struggle to get a glove on him, never mind his body angle, timing, slipping, footwork and counters

In reply to Post #203 Yeah cant blame him at all. What did surprise me is this kid is an unbeaten kickboxing world champ yet his punch resistance is abysmal. I found it quite funny that ffloyd treated it as an exhibition for about 1 minute then seemed to decide he'd had enough so just steamrolled the kid

In reply to Post #200 I watched it, embarrassing really. Can't knock Mayweather though, easy money. 9 mill for a 3 round exhibition fight.
Stupid Jap to blame thinking he really stood a chance

In reply to Post #201 That's japan for you... Have you seen some of the freak show mma events they have put on?

I haven't watched much boxing for over 20 years so apologies if I'm preaching to the converted here...
An aquaintance of mine very kindly suggested I watch the 3 fights that Arturo Gatti and Micky Ward had around 2003.
They're all on YouTube so if you're sick of the usual Christmas TV nonsense, sit back and enjoy!
Brilliant fights and the words 'hard as nails' really do fall short of the truth.

Cracking fight, those lads gave it everything they had. I had it even when the ko came. Very heavy ko, glad to see del boy was OK after a few minutes. He can definitely hold his head high. Dillian will be a a handful for any of the big boys of the division, if only because of his cardio
