In reply to Post #1764 YES 50 fights never been stopped I thought he was going to lose his record and be stopped was shocked he got up he was wobbled but what a typical Mexican !!
I did think at one stage maybe Molina would come on strong in the last couple of rounds if Egerton tired and draw him into a slugfest Molina did catch him with a big right in the final round but Egerton took it and kept away
good match I enjoyed it

In reply to Post #1756 Molina been around a long time , I remember him fighting julio cesar chavez jr and that was yonks ago he definately won that but it was given a draw , god knows how old he is ? He was as tough as they come but this must be one of his last fights so if eggington does,nt beat him he really has nowhere to go.

In reply to Post #1753 Fury has a following due to his gypsy roots but more notably due to his "celebrity "status . I have a relationship with liverpool, manchester , northern gyms etc and if a fighter from the gym was on a bill for a start all the lads in the gym would want tickets then obviously the fighters family and mates would want them, in the case of ricky hatton he would of sold out any arena but if there were only 1000 tickets then he obviously would only get a small percentage so it does,nt really matter how much a following they have . The only thing i can say is that no other fighter on this card must want tickets which i find strange.
I do know Nathan heaney has a large following as stoke is not that far away from the clubs i know and i still have lots of contacts in the clubs who keep me updated .

In reply to Post #1752 I knew that you weren't having a go and never crossed my mind...
Definitely have being sold and could have sold them 3-4 times over....
Never really knew joe that well but Nathan speaks highly of him and on the odd occasion when I did too then I could see why. Tragic what happened to him and just before his son had fought Tom Stokes for the midlands title too. Nathan is a great down to earth humble lad and follows Stoke City which has no doubt helped swell his supporters. Hardcore supporters I'd say there are around 100 ‘could possibly be more' and touch wood we never get to find out.
Out of interest and I genuinely don't know but how many supporters does Dubois and Fury have?. I wouldn't say a great deal considering Nathan's allocation was over 50%....Probably wrong, as I often am...

In reply to Post #1751 Im not having a go at you , I just find it hard to believe the allocation of tickets , if he says he sold that amount of tickets then he sold them , as i have said before i crossed paths with his dad joe many times when i boxed as an amateur and he was a decent bloke, i have no doubt his son is the same.
