I've not bought any from there as I don't use it much. Just had a look and there's loads to choose from. The Hirisi one is £1.35 for 7 m in 35lb B/S. Others are doing higher breaking strains for similar prices. There's also loads of lead free versions. Like I said I've not personally used any but with the prices, definitely worth a punt. You could always splice up a little length and stress test it before use for reassurance 👍

I was sceptical at first, with thoughts of being scammed and details being compromised etc. I've bought a few things now, all through PayPal and everything has been fine. Download the app and every stage of your parcel's journey is pinged to your phone.. Give it a go !

My laughter was actually in reference to "Mr Ying Tong" but I can see how my post could be misunderstood.

That's awesome. 99% of tackle is made in china anyway these days. It probably all comes out of the same factory (or a few). I've never ordered from Ali & I may try one day.

I tried a few more bits from Ali express - the fox-style splicing needle, 'y-lin' coloured kickers, PVA bags, some tiny hook swivels, some of the tungsten putty, and a cool little leader box all completely fine.

Saw that yesterday and it is indeed a bargain. I would have been tempted but Mr Ying Tong Chan had already dispatched something similar for half the price 😂.

Not sure if it's already been posted as I'm too lazy to scroll through but Aldi have cook sets & gas stoves on the middle aisle. They look decent enough & cheap. Other camping related items too.

Yep, you can nearly always find it cheaper somewhere else, espesh China who makes most of it. Like everyone I don't like getting ripped off and I see the likes of Bank Tackle as a middleman between Main brand prices and Tackle companies.

Thing is if the tackle companies weren't asking for it the Chinese wouldn't be making it, and certainly wouldn't be making it on the scale a person could buy the quantitites we want.

It's another subject for another thread, not bargains. jmo

For years I've been like a tramp on chips every time with these " discounts " . Hooks, beads, PVA bags, swivels, etc, etc. I'm probably now stocked up with most stuff for the rest of my days Lol. But I fancied some of those D rig aligners which were £3.29 for 10. Went on AliExpress £1.10 for 20 ! Couldn't help myself on there Lol, 4 piece stainless steel cook set, folding handle frying pans, " Nash" bait ball mould, PVA mesh tube all at unbelievable prices 😁.

Only reason I stopped using Poacher 👍🏽love thier baits but my fishing mate got rid of his bait freezer so had to switch to a company that did shelf life..
I did message the guy a couple of years back and he said they are working on it but never seen anything since

I wish they would do shelf life, as I don't have room for a bait freezer anymore. Had to switch to A.B S years ago. I'd love to use sv1 but can't keep it fresh.
