In reply to Post #2253 Joshua knocked Whyte out with an uppercut and so did Povetkin ! so I reckon maybe Fury trained for that punch ?

In reply to Post #2253 Different level to the rest following the Wilder fights for me, tonight he showed it. Fantastic boxer who now has good power too
The sad thing for me if that’s him done it shows how political and corrupt boxing is because he should have had the chance to unify those belts several times
No detriment to Whyte either, solid British heavyweight who is still competitive with what’s around for me, tough man
David Haye, once a good boxer but on the panel, what a knob

What a shot
He was looking for that. Come inside and your susceptible to the upper cut
After that second stumble that was the right decision from the ref

In reply to Post #2245 Your paying for a British super fight. Not looked at the undercard until now:
Ekow Essuman vs Darren Tetley
Tommy Fury vs Daniel Bocianski (light-heavyweight)
Isaac Lowe vs Nick Ball (Featherweight)
David Adeleye vs Chris Healey (Heavyweight)
Kurt Walker vs Stefan Nicolae (Super-Featherweight)
Karol Itauma vs Michal Ciach (Light-Heavyweight)
Royston Barney-Smith vs Constantin Radoi (Super-Featherweight)
One thing for sure, Whyte will give it his all, tuff man who can take some punishment, coming in heavy too.
It will go to a stoppage this one, Whyte has to get inside or it’s curtains in 5 for me, only chance he has. I expect a boxing display from Fury, has him on the jab, toys and outclasses him before he finishes him
Heavyweight boxing though, anything could happen, two 18 stone fighting men

I wonder if you intelligent boxing brains could tell me if you think the Fury vs Whyte card is worth paying to watch? Excluding Fury vs Whyte, the card looks totally diabolical and im kinda loathe to pay £25 for one fight.
Any of you long time, knowledgable fight fans have thoughts?

Fury vs. Whyte, final press conference is up. After all the trash talking quite a bit of respect which is nice to see, even though they will get in the ring and try and kill each other

Indeed, too square on as should have moved to the his left more.
Should have used that straight right more often too.
No excuses he says, just didn’t keep his concentration when he got tagged.

In reply to Post #2236 He came into that fight with a decent record 28 wins only 2 losses i think , benn has got some power still a bit wild but he is looking good to me .
As for Nathan heaney , he did well after that knockdown he stood too square on when coming in and ramirez was looking for that one punch all the time .all the same he is winning and will learn from it.I thought it was a Good performance against a tricky opponent .listened to his interview after the fight today and yeah he is a likeable bloke .
