Thanks for the info, I'm only 5'9" so it should be fine but I'll only be using it with a standard chair which sits a little higher than most bedchairs.
I got some AnglingDirect vouchers at Xmas so will probably just order one from them when they come back into stock and can always take it back if needed.

Easy Shelter Plus is superb. I’m 6’2” and have about 6” or so head clearance when sat on my bed.

No problems with it so far, always goes up and down no issues.
And nice and easy to pack away in its bag.
Not one of these ones where the bag is too small.

I did see the korum day shelter lite on youtube. It did appear quick to set up.

Is it a good shelter or did you encounter any problems with it?

One or two other good choices mentioned but some are out of stock or a bit pricey

Personally i use the Korum day shelter lite. Big enough for two chairs or one chair/barrow.
Setup/pack down is very quick and easy. And for me the biggest selling point is when in the bag, it doesn’t take up much room.
A lot of other day shelters, even when packed down the bag is still quite long and bulky.

Lo pro good but a little OTT for days . . unless your kipping on a bedchair. Footprint is a lot wider than a 45" brolly even in the upright position - also has no central rib at the front so water can collect / drip straight off rather than down the sides . . .

Fox specialist brolly is the best had korum pentalite and superlite and brolly wouldn’t recommend

Got the standard easy shelter, great bit of kit and sits flat in the boot!

ESP lo pro worth a look, bit of extra side protection over a standard brolly

I'm really tempted by the Fox Easy Shelter Plus, lightweight, looks like it goes up easily, packs down small and has a zip in front. Just trying to find somewhere that has one on display so I can check the headroom before buying.

How about the JRC - STEALTH BLOXX SHELTER 2G - looks like it's £129.99 at TFG and then you could get another 10% off.

Looking fo suggestions for a small day shelter thats easy and quick to put up and will offer side protection from the wind and rain.

Only need to get a chair and a bivvy table under it and myself of course. Pegs are tight where I fish during the winter so nothing too large and must be able to put it up and down quickly and easily. just for day sessions.
