Well, bit inconclusive that performance from Benn, the other lad wasn't at the races.

He needs to be careful if he starts calling big names out for me. Brona would be a good shout for me. He needs to up his game and the quality of the opponent he is fighting now too for me

The way I saw it was that Nathan started brightly and was hurting his opponent with those body shots so much to the extent that he spat out his dummy to get a breather. I felt this annoyed Nathan so much that he didn't gather his concentration quickly enough and got tagged. Felt that Nathan was off balance and it was this more than the power in the shot that put him on the canvas.

I couldn't scream any louder from the back of the arena ‘though I was close enough' to make my voice heard so quickly went down to the front to offer my support. Kept shouting to keep your distance and discipline Nathan, in and out and not stand in front of him. After round 7 I felt Nathan was in front and needed to keep to what he was doing and the victory would be his. Shouted in round 8 that you're boxing well Nathan and to keep the discipline and that it would be yours as the fitness he has is amazing and is deserving of good things that may come his way.

All in all I thought he kept his concentration well and didn't get embroiled in a scrap after he had visited the canvas as that would have being both the easiest but wrong thing to do.

Got a fantastic coach in Steve Woodvine who Nathan adores and thinks so highly of him.

Thankfully all boxers went home safe and sound and I'm so proud of Nathan. I even got asked during my non stop support if I was his dad as I was shouting every second.

Well done Nathan and onto the next chapter in your career.

All the best mate you deserve nothing but good things from the sport.

He came into that fight with a decent record 28 wins only 2 losses i think , benn has got some power still a bit wild but he is looking good to me .
As for Nathan heaney , he did well after that knockdown he stood too square on when coming in and ramirez was looking for that one punch all the time .all the same he is winning and will learn from it.I thought it was a Good performance against a tricky opponent .listened to his interview after the fight today and yeah he is a likeable bloke .

Indeed, too square on as should have moved to the his left more.

Should have used that straight right more often too.

No excuses he says, just didn't keep his concentration when he got tagged.

Fury vs. Whyte, final press conference is up. After all the trash talking quite a bit of respect which is nice to see, even though they will get in the ring and try and kill each other

I wonder if you intelligent boxing brains could tell me if you think the Fury vs Whyte card is worth paying to watch? Excluding Fury vs Whyte, the card looks totally diabolical and im kinda loathe to pay £25 for one fight.

Any of you long time, knowledgable fight fans have thoughts?

Your paying for a British super fight. Not looked at the undercard until now:

Ekow Essuman vs Darren Tetley
Tommy Fury vs Daniel Bocianski (light-heavyweight)
Isaac Lowe vs Nick Ball (Featherweight)
David Adeleye vs Chris Healey (Heavyweight)
Kurt Walker vs Stefan Nicolae (Super-Featherweight)
Karol Itauma vs Michal Ciach (Light-Heavyweight)
Royston Barney-Smith vs Constantin Radoi (Super-Featherweight)

One thing for sure, Whyte will give it his all, tuff man who can take some punishment, coming in heavy too.

It will go to a stoppage this one, Whyte has to get inside or it's curtains in 5 for me, only chance he has. I expect a boxing display from Fury, has him on the jab, toys and outclasses him before he finishes him

Heavyweight boxing though, anything could happen, two 18 stone fighting men
