Another twist in the tale for UCL qualification after last nights results (Well done Villa, fully deserved).

If Villa finish fifth in the Premier League, Unai Emery's side will qualify for the Champions League as the Europa League winners.

The extra Champions League place that the Premier League earned through the European Performance Spot would then go to the team finishing sixth.

Villa would finish fifth in they lost at Manchester City and Liverpool won at home to Brentford.

Should that happen, the Champions League qualification focus then turns to sixth spot.

If Bournemouth avoid defeat at Nottingham Forest, or Brighton fail to win at home to Manchester United, the Cherries would finish sixth.

Should Bournemouth lose and Brighton win, it would then be the Seagulls who claimed sixth spot.

No comments on the England Squad then gents?

I was waiting for someone else to start.
Gist of it is that his trying to create a team. No good picking talented players if they don't gel together.
The logic sounds right, let's hope he's got it right.

I saw who he's left out int he press, his reason seems genuine...but...I also read a article recently where Gerrard and was it Scholes said the team (at that time) was a team of strong minded individual tallents who didn't necessarily play well together. I get that and I think Teuchels going along the same lines, then I see Bellingham in the mix and think hold on.

I'm all for leaving the egos out, they may have a better natural insight into the game, but qute often they don't cover the ground that other players might, and that can be the difference when it comes to stopping teams playing around you, ie, closing down.

I find myself agreeing with Tuchel. Foden and Palmer have been poor this year . You pick players on form not their name. Maguire is way to slow and would be a boil in the bag over there in that heat.

Looking forward to the EFL play off in half an hour, want Hull to win.

Yay, of all the scorers McB It was a dull affair tbh, Middlesbrough had all the chances, Hull played a defensive game, just like Middlesbrough last match.

So pleased for Hull, the owner got a bargain at 30 million.
