In reply to Post #10 Put up to fit skul cap and front, these will be left on if it fits back in the bag. There's enough room back of bed for my small table for keys, receiver, mug, headlight etc. Head end of bedchair inside door will be cool box as lid serves as another table for bait needle and binoculars. Other side has enough room for bag with waterproofs and tackle. Empty rod bag, bivvy bag under bed. It is on fractionally narrower than my original but oddly doesn't feel any shallower. The addition of a peak on the skull cap is an improvement as are vents in both bivvy and skul cap. Was never a fan of the original quick sticks and still not a fan of these and will replace them because I will lose the thumb screws. The bivvy is definitely taller and I have 4 inches of clearance above my head sat on the bedchair which is a solar cho8 on the low leg setting. As said before my old one last well over 20 years although I did have a titan as well but the rarely got used and later had a tempest air for open front summer use but didn't keep that long as the pio stripped back without skull cap, front and ground sheet wasn't much heavier.

In reply to Post #4 Thanks all.
Yes, have asked Goose but he wont be using his untill 16th June.
I've got a solar C-Tec, but apart from that would only have a rucksack and bait bucket most of the time, occasional a TA coolbag.

In reply to Post #1 Ask Goose - think he has one
I've got an original Ultralite and its a little bit wider than the new one - using a 'standard' Tactical X (which is long and wide at 215x 86) it will fit but footspace is compromised - its doable but def better with a more compact bedchair; so if I were you I'd go with a bed no longer than 200x 78 or similar . . .

In reply to Post #1 I used to use a nash ss3 sleep system in mine and use my barrow as a bivvy table. Loads of room in them.

In reply to Post #1 I use mine with solar sp c tech bed, does not touch the sides of the shelter.I put empty bags at the back of bed and at the front I have my korda compac coolbag at the foot end and speero compact rucksack and bivvy table at the head end.I can sit on my chair in front of my bed and have the door letterbox style,it's a little bit cramped for my legs but not uncomfortable
