In reply to Post #13 Not sure I'd do a night on sale, you'd need to go tooled up from what I've heard. A bit like Chorlton water park, if you go, take a baseball bat and a starving pit bull dog lol.
Oh and a few matchsticks to stick under your eye lids wouldn't go a miss

Don't pin all your hopes and dreams on PA, it's a fabulous club but that is exactly what it is, a club that caters to all. The waters with the big fish are insanely busy although there a couple where you can book a spot on the lake so at least you know you will have a peg when you arrive.
Syndicate wise well, they are out there. If you do get in PA you will probably meet people who are in them and if you come across as a nice genuine bloke who knows you might get an invite. But they aren't the kind where you can visit a webpage or a facebook page and apply via a message. One you can apply to like that is Blakemere near Whitchurch which is a lovely lake. There are also the RH syndicates too a bit further south.
Day ticket wise there are the places already mentioned. Also consider winterly near crewe and monument if you like that kind of place. Sale water park is another cheap ticket which does have some good 20's.

commonwood is an awful place, just holes in the ground and a load of big fish lumped in, certainly not my scene and if fishing here was all there was than I would honestly give up,the place is soulless.

In reply to Post #9 Thanks for this. I’ve tried Commonwood (decent) and Wyreside (good but blanked). Will check out the others. I’m a fan of Ladywood and Norton Disney but both are a good drive away

In reply to Post #5 In terms of Day Tickets, try Lakemore in Crewe, lovely venue, well run. Especially if you fancy a dabble with catfish.
There's also Coole Acres, Meer Moor and Brooms Cross in the NW, Old Mill in Lincolnshire, Commonwood in Wrexham, Not been to any of these, so can't comment on how good they are.
Plenty of day ticket venues really, just a shortage of decent clubs and syndicates.
Edit - there's also Wyreside and Clearwater in the NW.

In reply to Post #1 If you don't mind doing days the Stockport card is worth the money for poynton pool. Nowt massive in there but a good few 20s and not too hard

In reply to Post #5 I'm on Warrington this year and if you can get past the busy-ness there are some decent fish to go at. Even though it's early days I can see me holding this ticket for a while

In reply to Post #4 Thanks man. I’ve put in an application to PA so we’ll see in 3 years. For now, locally I’m trying Moreton and Gawsworth plus trips to Ladywood and across to Norton Disney. Any more decent venues within range?

In reply to Post #3 Yeah, ask me next year after I get into Prince Albert. Also, if you do a search on Albert on the search function on this forum, and tick Venues UK, that might throw up a bit of info.

In reply to Post #2 Cheers for the info. Yeah it seems slim pickings. Prince Albert is a big one but its so hard to know what waters are decent without any info on them? Seems bonkers

In reply to Post #1 Good luck on syndicates in the NW, few and far between. Club wise, there's a few - Warrington, Lymm and Winsford are all reasonably priced and have waters with 20's in. There's also Prince Albert, but it's got a 3 year waiting list.

Looking for some syndicates in the South Manchester/Cheshire/Macc area. I live in Marple and fish Gawsworth and Moreton a fair bit but I’m looking for a local club/syndicate with some decent 20+ fish.
I don’t mind travelling a bit. Any advice is welcome
