I see they've bought out Rat Bag. Obvs not their design but a quality product. Good business move imo.

In reply to Post #13 These were my thoughts exactly. I’ve tried loads, Bank, ESP, Korda, Avid…and although all fine at shorter range (<120) they all slip with a heavy lead on a big chuck. I use the thinking angers now and they are better, but a stop that you were confident would never budge would be something I would buy.

In reply to Post #15 I've found the harder the hook stop the less it moves. especially when using bigger stops. If these stops are pretty hard and as above, longer then there is a good chance they'll be pretty solid on a big cast

In reply to Post #13 Totally agree Yonny....
Not sure why the hate on this post. All companies sell products we think are pointless (Nash bivvy heater, Korda floss caps etc), but it looks like OMC are actually going to be releasing some really good products. Ali isn't stupid so left to create a brand of his own, instead of continuing to grow someone elses!!

In reply to Post #1 If that hook bead holds position @ 150 with foam on then it's a good product imo. Time will tell.

In reply to Post #10 Time will tell... Setting up a new buisness is always a risk. Hamidi is no mug. He got Korda to the stage where there are now through his Clever Marketing. He got a fella backing him who started multiple million pound clothing brand. Its early days but they've got all the ingredients for success right there.. good luck to them..

Ridgemonkey started with minimal products, possibly just one?
They built the brand first to gauge how well it was received, no point investing heavily if people aren’t taking to the brand.

Can’t help but think they rushed through the opening of OMC. Trying to sell some hats and a rig ready someone else designed really is scraping the barrel. Need to be a lot more creative to survive in this industry
