In reply to Post #5 Is anything carp fishing related worth the money?

They are a lovely pod and beautifully engineered. I havent used mine and probably never will as I dont carp fish anymore but its a really nice pod. Its relatively cheap compared to my solar universal pod as that works out at £620 with the new captive buzz bars which you dont need with the rp1 so works out a bit cheaper. I paid £395 for the 316 version. A lot of people must think it is worth it though as jag said on there fb page that they have never seen demand like it and are flat out making more.
Its like anything else really, are the new tech mags worth £600 each, personally i don't think any of it is worth the price they charge for it. At the end of the day its a pod to rest your rods on thats it and you can do that for a lot less money. Jag know people will pay it as carp fishing these days is probably more about how good your set up looks than actually catching fish.

In reply to Post #1 Most people I know that use a pod simply put it on top of the barrow so there is no set up or pack down time.

In reply to Post #1 Seen a few second hand ones for sale in as new condition so assume the sellers found they were not right for them.
