look for rechargable dog nail clippers on amazon. same product but without the carp tax.

they do the job but they are brutal on the metal / hook so it takes a bit of practice and you will probably need another file to finish it off.

I have found that I do the front of the point and then each side at a 45 degree angle. takes some practice but they are super quick.

this is the one I got - originally I got it for my dog but when I saw the Nash one I realised I could use it for fishing too

Get a Berkley line stripper has a sharpening stone on the end and of course strips a spool full of line in seconds.

Has anyone used the Powapoint hook sharpener and got any feedback?
