It's not an EU reg, it's a UK government decision. To 'demonstrate the strength of the union' apparently. And I assume one of Johnson's chums has a massive sticker factory.

Just like his chums that own or have shares in private C-19 testing operations. Pigs at the trough...oink! oink!

No worries, these threads often move away from the original post, I guess it’s the nature of this forum

Yes you are right and thank you for doing so
Sorry for my post which was a reply to post 15 which has been removed and makes my post pretty irrelevant.

The topic was to inform anglers going to Europe of the changes so they were aware.

Not political, simply trying to help people out with relevant facts that might be useful!

I have no allegiance to any political party, over the years I've voted for all the main parties at some point and one or two independents.
Of all the things that are wrong in this country and in the world I don't see this GB to UK sticker as a problem.
More important to me is I can't buy Tesco's own tonic water and have to buy Schweppes which is a lot more expensive
Joking aside like most people I have far more important things to worry but the topic of this thread is not one of them.

What's all the fuss about. A pair of stickers £1.49 from ebay. Job done.

What will happen if the Scot's vote to leave, another lot of stickers

A union jack flag in the rear window with the below written on it, is also sufficient apparently

Nous vous avons sauvé de deux guerres mondiales

In all seriousness, the worlds gone mad aint it. I still have my GB sticker from 2 years ago on the back of my car

I was looking a few weeks ago and the GB stuff all going cheap but unable to find a UK magnetic badge rather than a 'sticker'
