Strange to join a water that you're not bothered about losing the ticket for.
I mean why would you blatantly break a rule just because it suits you to?

Definitely worth checking the rules as most are based on mainline unless you fish a place like me where it states the obvious "0.35mm mainline minimum (this includes Zigs and surface fishing)".

Double check the rules.
Most required line strength or diameter is based on the reel line and it is unlikely to also apply to hooklengths.

Cheers, I'll try the 0.33 as it should 'float' better

. . think you'll get away with 0.33

Unless the bailiffs got a Vernier gauge . . .which if he has then I'd fish elsewhere as they are obviously insane . . .

Mucillin works. Been using it for a long time. You do need to treat the line regularly but a pot lasts for ever. Just get a bit on the pad provided, fold it over and pull the line through.

You might be restricted to using normal main line, but you’ll need to use very bouyant baits or the lone will drag them down

There are floater fishing lines that fit the bill but they’re not that thick. The Gardner one is 0.33mm in the highest breaking strain.

My lake has a minimum line diameter for mono and fluro of 0.37, what would be the best hook link line to use for zigs.
As the usual 'floater/zig' line is not thick enough, I'm looking at a mono line, but how do you know which are more buoyant?
Thanks
