Sounds nice! Pretty sure no one will mind if you write the name of the lake after all it was genuin question and if people could only mention sponsored lakes this forum wouldnt make any sense anymore.

Drive and survive considered?

A European friend of mine whom I met at Rainbow quite sometime ago opened a lake right at the start of the pandemic poor bugger 33 acres in the Champagne region 4 double swims the facilities at present are pretty basic but there is a new built composting toilet as well as a large open on two sides sheltered area with fridge freezer seating where you can BBQ and dive for cover.
It will going forward hopefully get further planning for proper built facilities which is his intention all along but things do not move quickly in France but what he has done to date is all new with a gravel track all the way around so parking at all swims, boats in the swims with staging although you can quite comfortably cast and catch from the bank, he has stocked around 800 fish to date there have been some original pretty large grass carp by the seems of it coming out not sure if he knew they were in there when he purchased the lake.

He bought the lake 2017/18 stocked it with fish straight away for both the following winters and then fed them for two years whilst completing all the work around the lake he was due for his first booking opening last April 2020 right when the pandemic was ramping up, the carp have grown exceptionally well with 30lb+ fish the norm 40's 50's and near 60's in the lake there even self setting with young small fish coming through.

I booked for a group of us late June this year but with all the restrictions had to postpone until next year which was not a problem Kris was fully understanding.
If anyone's interested I can pass on details.

Both lakes at Le Queroy might be an option?

We've been looking a couple of months now but struggling.
Be careful with some of these newish lakes as theres some fisherman's tales being advertised bud.
Will keep searching 😭

Majority of the top French ‘exclusive booking’ lakes will already be fully booked for next September I’d imagine.
I’ve been searching for august 2022 and haven’t had much joy over the last few days in finding anything available.

Couple that I’ve found which are on our short list are Redmill Carp France in Brittany and L’Evasion in Champagne region

Hi all,
Can anyone recommend a lake for 7 anglers, having a nightmare finding anywhere suitable that's available for Sept 2022.
Would like some where for a social bbq with a shelter from the rain if it tanks it down, ideally exclusive.
Anglers of mixed abilities so would prefer a decent stock of fish to upper 50's. A few we have nearly booked, after some digging don't appear to be stocked as advertised!!

Any suggestions welcome or lake owners that have any room, as its driving me mad.

Thanks.
