I fished there for a number of years - lovely water and it is only 20 minutes drive from my house, although there's several syndicate waters close to Braxted that I would say offer more in terms of fish size/quality of fishing, one in particular offers some of the best carp fishing in Essex. Not easy getting membership for any of them, if you're not well connected with the right people

Braxted Park Estate Lake, it's a syndicate.

Lovely lake although it's a bit pricey for me.

See this thread.

Hi guys,

Took my dog for a walk to braxted hall a few weeks back and noticed a large lake just before on the left (if the hall is infront of you)

Was curious as to who run it? I know it’s not any of the Chelmsford club lakes.

Thanks a lot guys
