Just noticed that this place has an otter problem. If anyone is thinking of going there, check out their faceache page, plenty of angry people on it - see today's post.

In reply to Post #7 Will do mate 👍🏽 You never know if it’s quieter on the guest front they might let the odd member of the public on.

In reply to Post #6 Give them a call, see if they can do anything for non guests. Ask for a guy called Dean.

In reply to Post #4 It's 3 rods, though I must say we both only fished 2 rods as the swims weren't that big. I would say best lake for a day would be Pump House or Everglades. But you do have to be renting accommodation there to get a day ticket.

In reply to Post #3 Nice one mate you had a decent couple of days fishing then. What lake would you say would be best for a day session? Is it £7 for 3 rods? Or is there a limit of 2?

In reply to Post #2 So, went last week from Monday to Friday, me and my son managed 2 x 8hour sessions, had 5 fish between us to 18lb. There are 9 lakes in total (must have expanded since it got it's name!!). The carp fishing lakes are as follows:
Clearwater Lake - the largest lake, about 30 acres. Not sure of stocking levels or sizes, but jou can only fish this lake from 16:00 to 10:00 (including nights) when jet ski-ing is not on. There are caravans around 40% of this lake so limited where you can fish.
Pump House Lake - the lake we fished, good stock up to 30lb. Long thin lake with caravans on one side so again limited where you can fish. Some silkweed in this lake. No night fishing on this lake.
Everglades Lake - weird 4 acre lake with loads of islands. Weedy. Just across the road from the southern end of the pump house lake. Approx 70-80 fish to 30lb. Can fish 24 hour a day.
Tetley Lake - approx 4 acres, if you look on Google Maps, it's the lake with the cross on it. Weedy, contains 18 fish to 30lb+. Can fish 24 hour a day.
Think there's few fish in the lake with multiple spits on it, don't know what it's called though.
There's also one of the lakes at the back of the complex behind Teley Lake which has one fish in it, a mid thirty.
Overall, not a bad place to fish, wasn't too busy. If you're a caravan owner, you get 4 fishing passes included so fishing is FOC (so to speak, although you obviously have pay ground rent). For guests, it £7 a day. And they do check for tickets/passes.
