Depends what lakes you like but here's a few:

Whelford Pools, nice lakes, not a runs water, but good quality fish. The main lake which is in two parts joined by a narrow channel is probably a couple of acres, nice lake. There are other lakes there also, one for 4 anglers exclusive with a basic lodge, the other lake has accommodation on.

Horcott Lakes, 25 acre gravel pit, another nice water, a few miles out of the CWP, not overly difficult, a lot of tench so beware.

Carp Society Horseshoe in Lechlade, water with a good history. Never fished it but I reckon the fish have seen everything.

My lad's also mentioned Carp Pool, it's on facebook, I don't know anything about this.

There's also Watermark Fisheries, they have Bradleys (very big) and small Wood Pool (very small runs water).

Best advice, ring the Tackle Den.
