Steam it over a kettle. It straightens lovely. I also use a thinking anglers xl tungsten bead 1 inch from the eye to aid the hook turning. I’m absolutely convinced that doing the above helps it all sit out nice and flush to the bottom of the lake bed

No worries mate

If you don’t want to use a sinker to weight it why not tie a small whipping knot (like a marker not) with a piece of braid and use that to mould some putty around - just a thought

Yeah I suppose your right mate, it’s just me, when I tested it and it was floating up abit just thought would be better laying more flat. It probably is better off floating abit if there is debris on the lake bed as it will settle on top. I didn’t look at it that way so cheers for that 👍🏽

I’ve used it since last year and it does float up a bit.

I know you didn’t ask the question but for what it’s worth that doesn’t bother me in the slightest. As I see it there are bits of weed sticking up everywhere so don’t have an issue with hooklink sticking up. I’ve never weighed it with anything, never had a tangle and have caught a fair few fish using it. Most articles tell you it must be flat on the bottom but that’s something that doesn’t worry me.

Does anyone use this braid for their rigs? Just been tying a few and testing them in bowl of water and the braid floats, wondered what sinkers to use with this? I know on their site it says not to use them on coated braid.
