Yes Horseshoe Lake in Lechlade, season and day tickets, you have to be a Carp Society member to fish there but all worth it

The one in South Cerney used to belong to Watermark Fisheries, and could be fished on a day ticket. Unfortunately, that's no longer the case, it has accommodation on there now so it's more of a holiday location. It's called Little Horseshore.

Horseshoe Lake in Lechlade is the one owned by the Carp Society, used to be able to pay by the hour + a one off annual fee. Just check it out on the website.

There appears to be two horseshoe lakes in the cotswold. Do you mean the one near Lechlade or south cerney?

It certainly used to be, in fact it was hourly tickets. You paid about a quid an hour. But think there was a one off charge as well. With this, it made it a bit expensive if you just go for one session, but probably worth it just to fish one of the best UK venues steeped in history.

Having watched "The Big Fish Off" last night, there's also Wood Pool on the top side of Bradleys. Think it's a Watermark Fisheries water, currently closed but I guess it will be open next month when this lockdown slowly comes to an end. It's a runs water, loads of small fish up to 20lb.

Yeah, good idea, the local shop in the Cotswold Water Park is the Tackle Den. They're pretty good, and sell day tickets for some waters.

Call a local tackle shop and have a chat, they’ll tell you all you need to know and I’ve even known them to propose customers as members for clubs where you need to be proposed

Day ticket waters in or around the Cotswold Water Park Horcott Lakes, Thetford Pools, Carp Society's horseshoe. Also Watermark have a few lakes eg Bradley's. Loads of water but not many on day ticket.
