The waters around near me are not as busy as I thought they would be either.I have heard they were stacked up waiting at Linear

Just nipped over to one of the lakes on my club ticket and there only seven people on at moment I was expecting it to be rammed. There is only four people on the runs water as well hopefully it stays this quiet down here.

Big difference with the old closed season was the ability to do other things in the meantime...

Jeez how would todays carp anglers have coped with the old 'closed season'? 3 months from March 14 til june 16th, everyones mental health would have been shot to pieces

If you was on yesterday you was allowed to stay on for the night according to the angling trust so they most likely got there yesterday

Got to my syndicate at 5am 3/4 of the lake gone all with people fast asleep in their bivvys. Hmmmm wonder when they got there

I cannot get out until Wednesday afternoon and have a 48hr session planned. I have four different venues to choose from I just hope I can get on at least one off them.

A few of lads from my club lake set off from Kent to get to linear for around 03.00 this morning and were hoping to be the first in line.

Farlows had to open at 12.15 due to the amount of people waiting. Linear just opened and full already
