Anybody found the sizes weird this year? My hoody last year is a medium and even after many washes still fits fine even with a few extra lockdown pounds added lol... But I had to go up to XL this year which is really baggy but the medium or large just felt like they didn't have much give or flexibility in the shoulders.

Drop there prices.. Any lower they'd be giving them away. Went in me local yesterday and they had a few of the smaller and XXL sizes left. As has been mentioned dont think they really need to lower there prices.

They usually sell out long before they need to drop their prices.

Very good quality hoodies, for me they are far too warm for the summer.

Didn't see any in our local store either so assumed they had just sold out as didn't get there until Sunday. Luckily ordered a few bits online beforehand so wasn't too upset

The fleece lining and face covering I think make a massive difference in taking the edge off in cold conditions

My hoody and joggers turned up this afternoon.
For £25 I'm really, really impressed! Really like the integrated snood jobbie in the hoody and the fleece lining in the joggers.

I hadn't even realised Aldi did fishing clothes until I saw this thread. I decided for the price it didn't matter if they turned out to be crap. Had 2 x hoodies and a pair of waterproof trousers turn up this morning and I am really surprised by the quality for the price.

Sizing wise, I am a big guy at 6ft 3 and about 17stone, went for XXL in all 3 garments, hoodies fit well, trousers I probably could have gone a size down.

Got 2 hoodies (I'll wear one for work) and 2 joggers, went for a L in the joggers they were ok bit tight on the legs and arse the waist was ok though so changed them for the XL which are loads better and no doubt they'll shrink a bit anyway and I'm a 35/36 waist, got the hoodies in an XL there fine but I don't like the turtle neck bit so cut it out

My bits arrived today. Usually an L or XL in normal clothing so got an L in the joggers, waterproof trousers and soft shell jacket. Both trousers I could have done with a M if I'm picking picky and the jacket is just about right.

£50 for all 3 bits. Can't really complain when I know that trakker, fortis, Korda equivalents would set me back more than double that

I bought a hoodie and joggers, as thats all that were left in my size

I normally take aL / XL in hoodies, large was too small and they didnt have XL so got an XXL which is a bit baggy but not outrageous, certainly be fine with another jumper underneath in winter.

Got large joggers and they fit perfectly, if it helps the last fishing joggers i got were from primark and they were an XL to fit nicely

Yeah, spotted that, but wanted to know if that was accurate by people who'd tried 'em on. Also, it only gives info on waist, wanted to know about leg length as I'm a shortarse.

Fit to expected size IMHO -

I'm 6'1" 15 stone XL salopettes perfect length and can wear over joggers etc - length can be adjusted obvs with shoulder straps.

Joggers in XXL big but will shrink in dryer once missus has had her hands on them . . .

Picked up a hoody myself this evening. Thought I'd try on a large normally an XL. couldn't even get it over me head. I'm ever the optimist. Went for the XXL in the end glad i did as the sizes do come up small. And all for the bargain price of 13 quid. Stick a brand logo on it for the quality youd be looking at 40 notes plus. Wish I'd picked up the joggers as well now. But went for four pieces of Rump stake instead..

Great heads up.

I picked up some joggers, neoprene wellies, a jacket, waterproof trousers today.
Also got the wellies for the missus and we've had some of this clothing before and its top quality and durable.

Top value and top quality and carpy enough for all except brand slaves.

Yeah zipped pockets as well, hoddy has a face covering which takes the edge off the wind and thumb holes so the sleeves cover a bit of your hand. Bargain for 12 quid.
