In reply to Post #6 Joys of instant, social sheep carpers I'm afraid mate
Some free things are best kept offline and otherwise the circus and fish movers arrive

In reply to Post #5 Yeah facebook carpers ruined a lovely little lake I've been fishing for the last few years and now everyone knows about it.

In reply to Post #1 It was almost completely off radar until people started posting about it on Facebook. Gave up on it once the first lockdown kicked in as it got brought up on a weekly basis by people looking for a place to do a "cheeky overnighter". A certain day ticket near Paddock Wood was sniffing around, and the builders who were working on the hotel took their share.

In reply to Post #3 Sounds like a plan, good luck with it and if possible a heads up on how it goes, plenty of history in that valley.

In reply to Post #2 Apparently there is still some nice fish left in there its just a matter of getting in there and catching a few before the weather warms up and the chavs start venturing out.

In reply to Post #1 Think it's been a free for all for sometime?
Might be worth a bit of a bait up and early mornings before the undesirables turn up?

Does anyone have any info on the lake I heard its a bit of a free for all but its a lovely lake. I had a wonder around it the other day and really like the look of it but I have heard a few rumours about the place about anti social goings on and fish being removed for food by eastern Europeans. I have still seen a few nice carp in there that I would not mind having a go for though. Any info would be great fully received thanks.
