So long as it's not a spelling test eh Wayne?

Had my jab yesterday. No side effects at all. And if you don't believe me you can ask the unicorn sat in the corner.

I even got a sticker.

I wonder if the hospitality sector would have a rethink if people started to boycott places that didnít put enough effort into being as Covid secure as possible.
Checking some form of vaccination passport might be seen as part of that effort.

My parents had their 2nd AZ jab, Mother 87 a slight headache for a day, father 92 no side effects. both were clear of effects from first jab and my mother said she would rather have a headache than be on a ventilator

I donít mind doing a test to get in a pub etc......

That said I think itís totally unmanageable and the hospitality industry doesnít want it anyway so hereís hoping it doesnít materialise.......

Lol. What an extremist response.

Nobody is forcing anybody to have the vaccine and nobody ever will.

If you decline or are unable to have the vaccine for medical reasons you will just need to get tested to prove you don't have the virus if you want to travel and maybe attend other events. This is just how it shaping up atm.

Medical experts think we'll be living with Covid 19 for the foreseeable future so we can all expect this to go on for some time.

Maybe you should be providing proof of the long term affects of the vaccine? Perhaps the authorities will require those that have chosen or have medical reasons not to take the vaccine should be made to wear an armband to distinguish them from those that have or maybe tattooed or even establish Covid camps for the dissenters ? But heh the Government are aware that itís illegal under the Nuremberg Code to force or coerce a citizen to take any medication!! Then thereís all those BAME that arenít taking the vaccine which opens up a whole can of worms re discrimination or Racism 😉

Had the Oxford one yesterday morning, was surprised to be offered it tbh as my age group isn't due yet and I have no pre existing issues but didn't need to be asked twice.

Went down the lake for the day after the jab and I'm back today after some bubbly to celebrate last night. Feel slightly fatigued but nothing else.

Now Iooking forward to applying for a covid passport after my second jab in whatever form it is in as it now seems inevitable especially for a trip to France and possibly for pub, shows, cinema etc I get some people rejected a vaccine, it's their choice but you'll be required to prove your covid free before traveling etc for the health of everyone else around you. This is no longer a discussion point as it's coming whether you like it or not.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-56522408

Something like 22 million people have had the Oxford jab now and if there were any issues it would have been investigated and we would all know about it so the comments about being lab rats are ridiculous and unfounded. If you disagree then please provide your proof that its dangerous.

Nice to see a bit of positivity amongst all this **** storm Ken. The good news there appears to be light at the end of the is long drawn out dark tunnel for me now, bring on the sunshine, summer time around the corner, bring on the fishing and bring back life as we know it. Time to look forward to better things

Got mine yesterday, walked to the GPS and wasn't home 20 mins THEY started. Started with a shiver then a sweat, then a dull thumping headache. Slept for nigh on 24 hrs albeit very broken sleep.Still feel a bit sh*t and still sweating buckets with a sore head. I sincerely hope the 2nd jab ain't as bad.

Had my first jab two weeks ago, Oxford flavour.
Felt a bit rough the following day, nothing too bad, took a couple of Ibuprofen and hit the sack for a few hours and felt fine after that.

I'm really uneasy about this fully vaccinated to travel concept that appears to be becoming the norm. Young people have had to put up with a tremendous burden throughout all this, with in reality, very little risk. They're at the back of the queue for a vaccine and looks like there'll be a downturn in UK vaccinations coming shortly. Just doesn't sit right with me, but can't see another way.

Weíve had cruise brochures through that state fully vaccinated only, presumably the second jab needs to be had few weeks before travel.

Had mine yesterday lunchtime, AZ, arm was a bit sore for an hour after then I was fine. Went to bed and woke up about 0130 and couldn't get warm, legs were aching like mad, bit of a headache and felt like Tyson had punched me in the arm, tossed and turned all night and rough as this morning. Ok now just tired.

I had a Pfizer jab in Feb no side effects and no problems. Mrs had AZ on Saturday spent Sunday in bed with chills, headache and tiredness, today she said she still doesnít feel right😷 or is it because she started a round of antibiotics, started on Friday, is kicking in because her scar from skin cancer has an infection in it? 🤷🏼‍♂️

The Govn calls them 'adverse reactions'. Thats plain to me

https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-vaccine-adverse-reactions/coronavirus-vaccine-summary-of-yellow-card-reporting

But by all means go ahead and have a jab with an experimental vaccine that doesn't finish being trialed until 2023

I had Oxford jab on 19th Feb, I had terrible side affects for a few hours afterwards, headache, fever, hot & cold spells etc. As advised in the jab paper work took aspirin every 4 hours, sore arm to. Due 2nd jab around. May time, so will have aspirin standing by. I am 66

Wife had hers the other day, she is 59, during the night she thought she was going to pass out in the bathroom, heard her nearly being sick, she also had very cold spells temp wise. So she suffered side affects due to Oxford jab, she took aspirin every 4 hours to.

Took my 85 year old mother the other day for her 2nd jab, she had Pfizer jab. She has COPD, pacemaker. She had no side affects.

My son is 20 so will have to wait a while yet for his first jab.

I had mine on Monday Oxford one too , similar side effects Ė arm felt like it had set in concrete for three days (Just like when you have had a tetanus jab in your leg) Only other side effect was a kind of sleeping sickness, falling asleep for fun, numerous times woke up to a stone cold brew! Other than that Iíve been fine.

I know some have had a massive fever and extreme fatigue for days after the jab, think the side effect level depends on whether you have had Covid in the past to a degree (I had it 2nd week in Feb 2020)

Well had my covid jab yesterday. I feel fine apart from my arm. It feels like I've been punched hard on the spot of the Injection. My mate had the same Injection yesterday and he just text me saying he feels very sick. Head ache feeling sick shacking and so on. Has anyone else felt bad with there Injection or been fine with it
