In reply to Post #64 So long as it's not a spelling test eh Wayne?
Had my jab yesterday. No side effects at all. And if you don't believe me you can ask the unicorn sat in the corner.
I even got a sticker.

In reply to Post #64 I wonder if the hospitality sector would have a rethink if people started to boycott places that didn’t put enough effort into being as Covid secure as possible.
Checking some form of vaccination passport might be seen as part of that effort.

I don’t mind doing a test to get in a pub etc......
That said I think it’s totally unmanageable and the hospitality industry doesn’t want it anyway so here’s hoping it doesn’t materialise.......

Lol. What an extremist response.
Nobody is forcing anybody to have the vaccine and nobody ever will.
If you decline or are unable to have the vaccine for medical reasons you will just need to get tested to prove you don't have the virus if you want to travel and maybe attend other events. This is just how it shaping up atm.
Medical experts think we'll be living with Covid 19 for the foreseeable future so we can all expect this to go on for some time.

In reply to Post #61 Maybe you should be providing proof of the long term affects of the vaccine? Perhaps the authorities will require those that have chosen or have medical reasons not to take the vaccine should be made to wear an armband to distinguish them from those that have or maybe tattooed or even establish Covid camps for the dissenters ? But heh the Government are aware that it’s illegal under the Nuremberg Code to force or coerce a citizen to take any medication!! Then there’s all those BAME that aren’t taking the vaccine which opens up a whole can of worms re discrimination or Racism 😉

Had the Oxford one yesterday morning, was surprised to be offered it tbh as my age group isn't due yet and I have no pre existing issues but didn't need to be asked twice.
Went down the lake for the day after the jab and I'm back today after some bubbly to celebrate last night. Feel slightly fatigued but nothing else.
Now Iooking forward to applying for a covid passport after my second jab in whatever form it is in as it now seems inevitable especially for a trip to France and possibly for pub, shows, cinema etc I get some people rejected a vaccine, it's their choice but you'll be required to prove your covid free before traveling etc for the health of everyone else around you. This is no longer a discussion point as it's coming whether you like it or not.

Something like 22 million people have had the Oxford jab now and if there were any issues it would have been investigated and we would all know about it so the comments about being lab rats are ridiculous and unfounded. If you disagree then please provide your proof that its dangerous.
