In reply to Post #4 £450 is a fair price I paid £580 for some minters with boxes this time last year.

Thanks both for the advice. Think 450 is a fair price? Unfortunate no boxes hence why I knocked them down on the price.

In reply to Post #1 . . .functional bail arm, folding handle and drag. No major damage or dinks (esp to reel seat, spool and line clip), smooth (albeit with a touch of wobble) retrieve when rotating handle . . .if only a year old should last you a fair amount of abuse before servicing . . .get some original tourney spools and swop them out as these look awesome on the black editions . .

Hello,
I am looking at a set of second hand Dawia Tournaments 5000BE this evening. A year old and in supposed perfect condition. Getting them for £450 which I think is a reasonable price, but wondering if there was any advice what to check or what I should look for to ensure these are suitable.
Cheers
