Hi. So, I have been fishing the public lacs for a good number of years now and have been fortunate enough to have found some real gems but the last few years I have been caught by the river bug! There is just something about a river that really gets hold of you. I have a couple of nice stretches that I fish later on in the year on Le Lot which have very good carp and very few nuisance fish but Iím really after a really picturesque section for the summer months. Somewhere I can jump in the boat and be in the middle of no-where. Anyone willing to help? Not after exact spots, just sections. PMs welcome.
The Vienne - anyone ever fished the Availles - Limouzine sector? Is it nice and quiet and out of the way? Am I likely to get plagued by barbell/chub etc?
I have never been fussed about size, itís the boat battle that gets my juices flowing!
