In reply to Post #4 Hi Vince,
I make my own. I used to use scoulded Halibut or Trout pellet but after a 5 year lay off from fishing I tried it again and it just didn't stick like crap to a blanket anymore, I guess pellet recipies changed. I then used a boilie mix paste, just didn't boil it and added whole mini pellets amoungst other things. After having a word with Ken who blogs for Haiths he pointed me in the direction of his paste recipe which I use to this day (middle right on link). Naturally I've tweaked it a little and I don't use a flavour in it, the options are endless once you get going....ha ha.

In reply to Post #1 I use method feeder a lot and will often wrap a small pop up in method paste, the idea being if the paste doesn't get taken it will break down and leave the pop up above a small patch of paste slurry. Gives 2 baits for the price of 1, method identical and pop up alternative. Works with bottom baits too, people have been using it for decades over here, in fact paste baits pre date boilies, cheese paste being very popular for Chub on the river.
Another way to get paste out with your bait is to drill holes in your lead and pack it with paste, or wrap your lead in it.

Hi mate paste wouldn’t be banned after all it’s just boilie that’s just not been boiled yet. I like to wrap paste around a corkball mesh it with tights and them roll it in your hand covering the tights with your paste that has protruded through the mesh. This will last around 12 hours in the winter. With tigers I don’t like to add anything apart from sugars. tigers are a great bait you don’t need to add a thing 👍🏼

Don't know if it's banned in the UK but I'd love to hear some of your opinions guys.
Anybody on here fishing tigernuts hookbaits and wrap it in a ball like with Maltabela"sorgum porridge" or maize meal ? If also had some huge success on applying a decent amount of peanut butter to the hookbaits.
Anything worth trying ?
Open to ideas
