In reply to Post #5 BAA must be right up there, as would PAAS. Purely for the variety and quality of waters and species you've access to. Big clubs have large memberships which is the downside.

In reply to Post #1 Depends on what you class as open access and how you define value for money.
If by open access you mean walk into a tackle shop and walk out with a club book then those mentioned would fit the bill, however they are all sold out for this season I believe. Plus you’ll be fishing with, how do I put this, people with varying levels of experience and the joys that can bring.
So actually value for money to some people might be to spend a lot more on a ticket for say an RK or Embryo water as that brings more secure surroundings, generally bigger fish, more facilities and a lower number of anglers.
It’s kind of a personal thing to each individual and what you want from your own angling.
