In reply to Post #89 The travel thing over here is ridiculous. So much bureaucracy and double standards it's unreal. If they were doing this and keeping the virus under control I may get it, bit we have the worst infection rate in the UK, highest death rate per capita and the slowest at rolling out the vaccine. I don't blame Angling Cymru at all, they are trying to deal with a bunch of idiots

In reply to Post #78 Spot on mal, people are very quick to start taking liberties when it suits them. Country should be in total lockdown, not this wishy-washy rubbish.

In this instance there will be some people and organizations that represent people getting out fishing for a few hours will undoubtedly help them and for those that it genuinely helps then well done to the Angling Trust for enabling them to do so.
For the rest that don't really suffer from not going then just don't go. Like most other things in life there will be those that abuse the situation but this is happening anyhow in many different ways, if they wasn't fishing then what else might they be doing?

In reply to Post #89 Feel for you mate. Your lot seem so similar to that lunatic outfit that's ruining Scotland. Give these authoritarians an inch and not only will they take a mile, they'll rub your nose in it at the same time with the justification that it's all for your benefit, nice.

I wish the angling trust would help angling cymru out and lobby mark drippy drakefords government in wales...England tier 5 and can fish, wales tier 4 and can't fish,or as they put it you can't drive to any venue to fish so unless you live by a venue you can't fish

In reply to Post #82 Yeah, I think Boris will fold, he has the strength and resilience of a melted KitKat, especially so if that Starmer (sp) cretin starts yabbering on and piping up, Boris copies Starmer's dictats verbatim.

In reply to Post #80 i wouldn’t be surprised if the current lockdown laws/guidelines are increased in the next few days....there are a lot of people out and about today, albeit following the rules, but that must be a concern to the scientists who model the rate of transmission. We may be restricted to limited time outside your.house like they did to good effect in Spain

In reply to Post #80 That first post related to your mention of you not thinking angling was exercise. The other post is self explanatory.
You come across as highly emotional - like a lot of the same regular posters - and very angry, and yeah, moaning too.

In reply to Post #77 “Welp, the government fortunately doesn't agree with you”
Half an hour later.
“as much as you and I don't like the fact”
🤷🏻♂️
Unless it was just to be antagonistic I don’t see how somebody currently working (I assume self employed) would find it fortunate that people being paid to STAY AT HOME are out having a jolly up.
I haven’t moaned, I stated the fact that fishing isn’t exercise. There is ample opportunity to exercise between your home and however far you travel to the lake or river, exercise.. I’ve heard it all
