Masks are very important, but they are there to aid in stopping people from spreading the virus and not catching it. Moat of the leading scientist that advise governments around the world advocate wearing them, so there must be some truth in it

The no mask no shopping rule has been going on way before lockdown 3 .
You get the usual chavs that won't, sadly.
Masks only do so much, and alot of the 'masks' people wear are not very effective anyway.
As for warehouses.. you're lucky.
Some of the factories and warehouses I've seen are bombsites.
Hundreds of people overworked\underpayed with crap social distancing.
Like I said .. if you're going to do a lockdown do it full on. Not gonna happen.

In all seriousness though for anyone feeling unsafe. Please look at your local hospital or surgery social media pages for call outs to use up spare vaccines. There is leftover every day that needs using up so if you feel unsafe or want some sort of peace of mind, obviously for your own health, then keep your eye out.
Apparently youíre allowed to travel as far as you want for them though so anywhere near you.

You pay for them with your taxes so youíre entitled to them. Donít let them end up in the bin

Only supermarket I have used is Tesco, they have handled it very well from the start. The people I have mainly seen not give a **** is woman in late 40s to late 50s,standing too close or pushing infront of you to get to the shelves.I have spoke up a couple of times and the looks you get its like I'm in the wrong for asking them to move away

and unfortunately that's the story for society as a whole mate.

i stopped using my nearest Asda because I was sick of being surrounded by selfish gits refusing to wear masks - mostly in the 18-30 age bracket. Kim and Aim (local corner shop) has all i need and i feel much safer

agree on the supermarkets enforcing the mask rule - and my sympathies with the staff who have to deal with the dickheads who will kick off of course.

i differ on the corner shop - my local corner shop has been brilliant throughout. sensible approach to discouraging panic buying (remember the toilet rolls fiasco...?) refusal to budge on the mask wearing. regularly sanitising and cleaning door handles and shelves. screens up at the till and his own mask on at all times. It's a family run business and his POV is that he's protecting his family by being safe.

coffee shops - ffs. some of them don't even pay their ****ing taxes....

They will obviously not shut supermarkets but coffee shops and corner shops could close.I work in a warehouse with very strict rules in place and we have had less cases in whole time this has been going on than the school my sons go in a few months it was open.Im glad the supermarkets have now stated no mask no shopping.I have stuck to all the guidelines throughout

That's the only way a lockdown would truly work.
Shut down EVERYTHING .
Then what?
How are you going to get food?
And don't give me 'keep the shops and online services running' so you can sit at your keyboard all day buying\ordering stuff.
That's where the main spreading is taking place. In warehouses and supermarkets with poor overworked folks shifting gear to be delivered to people on furlough who have nothing else to do.
If you're gonna have a lockdown do it fully.
But how can that work? You tell me.
