'Stay at home' - that's not too hard to understand is it?

Ffs no wonder we are back in lockdown.

What if you're Dave Lane, wouldn't that be essential travel to a place of work for instance?

Apologies if you're reading this and thinking I'm just being contrary for the sakes of it, I'm not. It would seem that say footballers for instance playing premier League football = good, pro *insert any sport you like here* for instance = bad.

Going to buy food is essential travel, going fishing isn’t.

Pretty certain golf is an outside non contact sport, and that’s not allowed!

I'd like the government to define "local", what does that even mean?

Yes they are both risks, but in the example I gave - also considering that you're able to take walks to an unlimited degree as it's deemed exercise - what would you say has the greatest chances of spreading this virus, bearing in mind that this is all just hypothetical?

I would be amazed if the AT are able to give the go ahead that fishing can continue. Fishing (including night fishing) was allowed during the tier system under leisure and recreation, with no time limit imposed. This has now been specifically excluded.
From gov.uk
It is against the law to meet socially with family or friends unless they are part of your household or support bubble. You can only leave your home to exercise, and not for the purpose of recreation or leisure (e.g. a picnic or a social meeting). This should be limited to once per day, and you should not travel outside your local area.

Both those examples are taking unnecessary risks. That sort of behaviour just adds to our problems and helps spread the virus

Further for me to drive to the supermarket than go to my nearest water - so bolloxes that argument. LOL I'm fishing tomorrow anyway - didn't bother watching Boris or looking at the news. LOL

Yeah I think we just need to be patient and not second guess it. If it is a no, so be it. Let's face it, if we have to have a break, January is a good month to pick. You could see this coming - no one was taking this Tier 4 thing seriously ...
