In reply to Post #74 Really enjoyed this from Joe and I'm not a fishing videos watcher really. Comes across as a good angler and I like his way of interview, relaxed and let's the guest tell the tale. Enjoyed episode six with Jerry Hammond, had some correspondence with Jerry over a decade ago and kind enough to send a load of photos of the fish and his waters over. Tells some interesting tales and what a job he's done in creating a tremendous environment for carp and angler in at times difficult and frustrating circumstances. Huge respect, a great vision achieved

Same, I really enjoyed it, he doesn't come across as over confident, love the more relaxed music too. I think I'll chuck him a fiver at least.

Based on a mates recommendation and the positive comments on here I watched the first episode last night. What an enjoyable hour and a half that was. I liked him as a presenter. I liked the content. I liked the way it was shot and edited. No ads. Great attitude. I hope he manages to continue this as I think it could really take off.
I’ve never subscribed to any paid carp content. I decided that I’m gonna do the right thing and send him a donation as I think that a. He deserves it for what he’s trying to do and b. I want him to be able to continue making content so this seems the best way.
Wouldn’t be at all surprised if Elliot did a number on him. Remembering his Korda podcast and comparing it to Joe in what I’ve just watched they certainly seem very different characters.
Hope it works out for him.

In reply to Post #68 That's cool. I know where you're coming from now. Point taken 👍
I used very poorly constructed language and sentencing, what I should have said is something.ive noticed he does instead of 'my only criticism'.

In reply to Post #66 Because on many occasions when I’ve been chatting away with Joe on the bank he’s done it and it’s definitely not a nervous tick, he’s been positively laid back and chilled out hence it’s a personal mannerism.
I don’t have a problem with you at all, I just found it rather odd you’d use the term “my only criticism”

In reply to Post #64 >it was a rather odd observation
What's odd about it? Same as mentioning Jim Shelly going "yeah, right." Why do you have a problem with me airing an observation that I've clearly pointed out is not an attack of the person?
>it’s definitely not a nervous tick as it’s just one of his mannerisms
Are you a trained psychologist or similarly trained/educated? If not, how would you know this?

Some of the well known anglers you’d just know would be a knob of camera but I get the feeling joe would be a down to earth nice guy. I suppose all us Joe’s are

In reply to Post #63 Tbh mate it was a rather odd observation to highlight and not particularly constructive in anyway, it’s definitely not a nervous tick as it’s just one of his mannerisms, he’s a great bloke and very humble.

In reply to Post #60 Sure, I was wrong by not reading my earlier post in response to yours ✋✋
Ironic really you're criticizing a criticism, no? Like I said previously, none of us a perfect, including myself, I'm just pointing out one of his habits, that's all, nothing meant by it, just a pure observation. It's not a slight on what he's doing, which I wish him the best, a mere comment, that's all. If you wanna pick away at that and micro analyze what I've said, be my guest, I honestly couldn't give a toss. Fill ya boots.

In reply to Post #61 Agree, he's underrated as an angler and has a history of very cool captures going back a long way.
